If you apply the "Oceans.pot" or "Textured.pot" design template to a blank
presentation the background becomes a picture image of the ocean or texture;
a full colour picture is loaded into the background and tinted using the

CompuPic, by Photodex, has a set of transitions that completely blows away
those available in PowerPoint.
I was greatly disappointed to find out that none of the transitions in PPT
2007 had been improved.

It would be a tremendous help if audio could be started on a given slide and
have other slides related to it on a timeline - as in Photodexes ProShow
Gold.
I recommend MS get a copy of ProShow Gold and really look at how it works.

I am making a P.P. presentation and want to save as a Read Only file. How do
I accomplish this?

Other products, such as ProShow Gold by Photodex allow text to be placed over
video during playing, however PPT always brings videos to the foreground -
which a really flawed implementation without this capability.

I've created an addin for Powerpoint 2007 using VSTO2005 SE. My addin have a
function that can get value from Powerpoint. For example, it will get the
value from the selection that have been made in Powerpoint and display it in
a message box.

Does anyone know how to take powerpoint text from the outline tab in
powerpoint & copy and paste it to Word without losing the format (like font,
tabs, spacing, etc.)?  Please help if you can.  My teacher puts all her
lectures in PowerPoint, but when I copy and paste the text ...

I'd like to be able to overlap two autoshapes and rather than simply
grouping them (which leaves me with both), do either of the following (I
need both, under different circumstances):
1. delete any part of either autoshape that isn't part of the intersection

How do you change the text shadow color in PowerPoint 2007. It is easy to do
in all other PowerPoint versions but how in 2007?

PowerPoint used to have clip art showing silhouettes of a stick figure doing
various things, like thinking, or having a brainwave, etc. They don't seem to
be included in PowerPoint 2003.
Are copies of the old images still available? If so, where can I get them
