i want to fade apicture and then add words on top. can you help me?

I have lots of formulas with super and subscripts and everytime I copy and
paste them (within the same presentation) all the subscrpts and superscripts
get lost and I have to redo them one at a time.  It really wears on me.

When I try to move from the media tab to the preview presentation tab in ppt
