If I have a picture saved, how can I make it the background for my
powerpoint presentations so that the words show on top of the picture?

I am trying to create a rain effect on a slide. I can download screensavers
of rain and videos, but I want to add rain over the current pictures in the
slideshow.
Help! Any ideas?

There is no documentation on the method SlideShowOnNext.  Can anyone explain
this method and compare it to SlideShowNextBuild?

I can print may slides using another other option but notes pages, when I
select to print notes pages the page comes out blank.  The print preview
looks fine, showing the slide and the notes, however the page comes out
blank.  Again, it is only when I select to print the notes ...

Every time I try to save a PP file I get this message - io error 6 - and I
have to close down.  I've tried the updating the registry ideas and it still
keeps happening.  I really need to save a PP - can anyone help?

I am using bullets in powerpoint.
I started at level one and then went to level two.
I want to return to level one in the same slide.

I would like to present an image or background and have it fade or
dim ---but only halfway so that text can be easily read over it.
I know how to "Exit-Fade" in custom animation---but is there a way to stop
the fade half-way to achieve my purpose?

With a movie inserted into a presentation, before moving onto the next slide
(and animation), the movie will return to the beginning before moving onto
the next slide - this obviously disrupts the flow of the presentation. Can
anything be done to prevent this?

Can msgbox solutions creating using VB be printed automatically?  I have
created a quiz in Powerpoint, the msgbox allows the user to retry the quiz or
quit.  Before they click the quit option is there a way of printing the

I have powerpoint 2000 and I'm trying to burn a CD of my presentation not of
the whole powerpoint.  I just want to view the show on a CD.  I have tried
burning from "My computer" but it burns the whole powerpoint, slides,
toolbars, etc.

in PP2000 I could adjust an individual slide timing under
SlideShow/SlideTimings.  How can you do this in PP2007?
