When I copy text and drawing objects from an existing ppt slide into a 2007
slide (97-2003 format), some of the graphics's features are altered, e.g.:
fill colour.  I've tried pasting as a MS Office Graphic Object, and even
copying the entire slide over.  I've tried grouped ...

I have got this freak case, in which a colour powerpoint cannot be
printed in colour (yes, the printer is a colour printer and the
printing preferences are OK). Moreover, the excels and the word files
can be printed in colour.

I have a slide which has a large amount of animation on it.
80% of the animation needs to repeat (maintaining its sequence of operation)
in the second cycle of the animation.
Is there a way to copy and paste all the needed objects and thier associated

One of my colleague's power point can not show the pictures i created in
word. instead the picture displays in a white box with a red cross in the top
left corner. which is the same when you can not display pictures in
IExplorer. It is not the problem of the hardware acceleration ...

I added a .swf file in a powerpoint presentation. Everytime I open PP i get
a message "Some Controls on this presentation cant be activated.Thay might
not be registered on this computer." And the flash movis fails to play from

I just had to reload Office 2000 due to an Excel issue.  Now I find that I
can't get the same "view" in powerpoint that I had in my prior version of
Office 2000.  Specifically, the "normal view" left sidebar used to have mini
slides of the presentation, but now has an outline ...

I have a powerpoint presentation in which I want to only advance the slides
if an action box is clicked and not when the screen is clicked.  I got this
to work by de-selecting the "on mouse click" box under "slide transition:
advance slide".  

Does anyone have a good resource for this?
I will be presenting to a group of PowerPoint users that present PowerPoint
weekly at their company. They meet with the management of 6-10 people each
week in a conference room and show 6-20 slides each week for 10-20 minutes.

I'm trying to create a new template that I was asked to create a standard

When I am copying from excel to powerpoint, the font colors aren't carrying
over as they exist in excel.  Instead, it's all coming over as black.  What
can I do to fix this?

I want to start a .pps on one PC, then make changes to the .pss from another
PC and have the changes show up in the running .pss without stopping and
starting it.
Or can this be done with a running .ppt?
