I'm working with a presentation provided by another group that has an embedded excel object in Powerpoint. When I open the worksheet, cells that are longer than 255 characters are truncated to 255 characters. What do I need to do to ensure this doesn't continue to happen.

I have a power point someone sent to me, and the links to the video are broken as they go to her desktop.... So instead of her having to resend me the video is there a way to reconnect the video? I cant seem to find the option.

How does one figure out which .wav files are embedded and which aren't? Is the appearance of the file in the folder, after saving the presentation as a web page, proof that the file is embedded? i.e. a linked file would not show up in this folder?

I'm developing a presentation which involves custom animations. how do i change the label of the elements that are animated? IOW, powerpoint names them as "shape 1, line 1" etc ... I'd like to be able to modify the labels so that they are more meaningful. any ideas? thanks.

Using PPT 2003 and Acrobat 6, printing handouts 2-up I'm choosing "US Prepress" options in Acrobat. Question is, will the resulting PDF be CMYK for a printer to use? or do I need other software?

We have some training manual slides saved in HTML format with PP 2K. Some of the HTML files no longer can be edited with PP 2K however PP 2003 can edit them. Here is what happens. Person opens html on the intranet in IE6.

I've heard that there is a way in ppt to extract a list of all the hyperlinks used in a presentation. This would be extrememly helpful for me, however, I can't figure out how to do it. Any advice? Thanks.

I converted a ppt with many wave files to a web page. The .wav files were included in the converted directory but there is no sound when I execute the web page. Any thoughts? Is this expected behavior? How do I include the .wav files in the web page version.
