I have a received two pps with the same musical background and would like to

I have been working on a PowerPoint presentation that my boss uses to lead a
training session. We're getting rid of the horrendous animations and
standardizing the look of the document.

How do I programmatically get a slide to display on the screen.  I see that
the slide I'm calling mySlide is selected as I loop through the slides, but
how can I get it to display on the screen?

in the slideshow mode they don't work.  I am sure I have linked them
correctly.

I need to delete the first two levels in slide master, how do I do that?
Whenever I delete them in Slide Master these levels appear again in normal
