Can a hyperlink to a specific file be made so no matter what drive the file

Using the insert table function in Powerpoint, what do you do when your rows

I'm finding 10-20 seconds of response time when changing display mode
from Slide Sorter to Slide Show and back to Slide Sorter mode.  Also
find similar poor response from Normal mode to Slide Show and back.
Switching mode Slide Sorter to Normal and back is fine.

I'm using a template that has a decorative line across the top to separate
the title and the body of the slide.  I want to insert something in that
slide and have it take up the entire page, but the line is in the way.  Is
