I hope I can explain what I am trying to accomplish.
Is it possible to have a picture in pp and then another slide comes into
view and the first picture fades?

The hyperlinks in my presentation seem to work on my computers that
have PowerPoint. But when I try on my new Vista machine the links in
the PowerPoint only work to the PDF files and not to other PPT's or
PPS's.

Few of the pople i know are using too big images inside power point. they
just do screen captures and dump the full image instead of scaling it down
with a image editing software to a particular useful size.

Last night I was working on a PPT (2000, 9.0.2716) presentation and
having a problem saving. I think that my (WinXP Professional) system
was just very slow and needed a reboot. Anyway, I got in a situation
where PPT said my file was read-only (I probably had hit Save too many

Save it, get the sign in authorisation and then process the input already
done over multiplr hours due to research! DONT WASTE OUR TIME!  How do we
know we have to separately save everything on your discussion boards?

After shamelessly copying code from Steve's FAQ, I was delighted to be able
to change media link targets with a vba macro in PowerPoint -- worked like a
champ.
I am now in PPT 2007, and the same code seems to fail in a peculiar way:
