I purchased a countdown clock in the form of a video overlay.  I want to be
able to post a message on a slide and run the clock at the same time, but the
words disappear when the clock starts.  I read one post that said videos

Are there any legal restrictions regarding the use of Power Point for
business?  If I have legal use of all images, graphics and text included in
the presentation, are there any restrictions imposed by Microsoft concerning
the use of Power Point in a for-profit business venture?

I have a 16 sheet work book wich contains Data & assumptions. In one sheet I
summarised all the results and assumptions into a Graph with Controls like
Spin Buttons, Options buttons, etc. If I change values using the Spin
buttons, correspondingle the graph will be changed.

Using PPT 2007 I want to copy a show onto disc that can be copied onto
another PC that doesn't have PPT, and be succesfully viewed. I'd prefer not
to package the presentation onto CD as this can't be copied form the CD onto

On our company network, we have recently upgraded to Office 2003.
When a user creates a powerpoint presentation, it becomes Read-only when
another user opens it.  Those on the network with Administrator access can
open it R/W.

How can I add PowerPoint slide #s in 2007 that also include the number of
slides?  In Excel it is &[Page] of &[Pages] but I don't find anything within
PowerPoint to do this unless it is Published with Word.  Any ideas?

I've created a collection of presentations, which I need to distribute
throughout our organisation.  They've been creaetd in Powerpoint 2003, but I
know for sure that not eveyone is running that version of the software.  We
may have people running 2007 - or 97!

I have made presentations in PPT 2003.  Some viewers are inable to see some
of the images.  Instead of an image they see an X.  Is it because they have
an older version of PPT or is there another problem?  What is the best way to
correct this?

Having designed an interactive pps using editable text boxes......I want the
user to be able to save the completed 'test' as an individual file...instead
of just saving the changes to the 'master file' any suggestions please....

I am working on a JAVA application. I am calling JNI APIs written in C+
+ through the code.
The application invokes Mircosoft power point. I need to copy the
NotesPage of a slide of a ppt and paste it to another ppt's slide's

I am creating diagrams in PowerPoint 2003 and then using the Save As Picture
command to export them as JPEGs (usually) or GIFs for use on the web.  When I
open the resulting image in a browser or in Photoshop, it is visibly fuzzier
than the PPT original.

One of my PCs has a problem editing any objects that I put in to it from
Equation Editor (or Word, etc.). I get a message that "Microsoft Office
Powerpoint can't start the application required to open this object. An
error occurred...", and if I say no, I get a second error that ...
