Running PP 2003 and using custom automation. In some slides I can select a text item in a list and apply any kind of emphasis to the text. On other slides many of the emphasis options are grayed out. What can be causing this? Thanks, Chuck

i am creating a slide show. the text that i have typed shows up in the slide show preview but when i click on each slide the heading text is missing and when i run the slide show it is missing as well. how do i fix this?

I have PowerPoint 2000 and Vista. I shall be grateful if you will advise me if, after setting up a tune in Slide Transition to play through the whole slide show, there is a way to play a sound in one or more specific slides without interfering with the original music.

I would like to make two arrows do the same movement at the same time. Is there a way I can sort of "merge" the two images to form one single object that I can animate? Or perhaps there's a way to create a kind of "joint animation" for two objects to perform at the same time?

I have PPT 2007. From the Master Slide, if I attempt to Edit the Theme Font, it only affects the Footers, not the text in the main placeholders. Does not happen on a blank brand new presentation, only from a presentation where I added a secondary slide master.

Can anyone tell me how I can see the notes on my computer while projecting only the slides to my audience? I know I've seen it done before, but I can't find a way to do it and the standard 'helps' arn't any help :)

If I copy an image or text and then open PPT to paste it in the paste option is not available (grayed out). The data is on the clipboard because I can paste it into Word, but not PPT. What I have to do is wait for PPT to open and then go back and copy the data again before ...

I gave my first PowerPoint presentation this morning, and everything went perfectly -- the projector projected as soon as the video cable was connected to the borrowed computer, PowerPoint Viewer worked perfectly -- except for one thing.
