How do I turn off the transaparent mini icon menu in the left corner when in
Show mode .. its a small rectangular box with 2 icons in it and looks like
the bugs you see on TV stations on the lower corner of the screen.

I am using automation via Visual FoxPro to build some
PowerPoint presentations.  I have a basic slide already

I created a ppt photo album presentation in vista and saved it as 2003 - 2007
version ppy. Now it won't open in either! Anybody know what to do?

My computer locks up when I'm using powerpoint, either creating or viewing
show and has to be rebooted. My computer has over 400GB free and 3GB ram so
that is not the problem.
Any Ideas?

Under "Slide Show/Record Narration" I'd like to record my audio files in the
smaller MP3 format, but .wav is the default. I tried selecting MP3 in the
pulldown menu under "Sound Selection" but it still gave me a .wav file when I
recorded.

How do I have 5 spheres on a powerpoint slide all follow the same elliptical
path.
I am able to creat separate motion paths for each sphere, but they are not
exactly the same since I am drawing with "curves".

I have a graph in Excel that I have pasted / linked (Edit--Paste Special--
using Paste Link) into powerpoint, all ok and it updates.
Both files are in the same directory.
If I copy both files to a new directory powerpoint still has the link but

I have a 120-second mpeg movie of slide show on one of slides.  It plays it
correctly except it stops at the last 3 photos.  Is there any restrction of
the length of mpeg movie for each slide?  In addition, how can I display the
first photo of the slide show instead a black blank ...

I linked a word table into PowerPoint, on Save it changes size.  How do I
stop this? (Prior to save the size is fine, fits on page, no problem.)

Having read through some postings I realise that it is not possible to add my
own layout style to the available list in PP XP - however a colleague seems
to remember reading somewhere that this was possible in 2007.  I would love

Is there a way to advance a slide based on the ending of a sound file?  I
want to associate a different file with each slide.  I can determine the
length of each .mp3 file and manually enter this timing, but would like to
advance the slide based on the event of the slides sound ...

I have been trying to installing Power Point Viewer for weeks.  I
get Power Point Viewer downloaded but when I try to save iton my computer I
get a message that one already exists.  So I go to Control Panel and
Add/Remove

In my application, some action buttons (called as "triggers" for now)
shouldn't be seen/turned on until the slide is visited again.  Therefore, I
purposely put "next" button on the slide to run a macro that will make
"triggers" visible.

Can anybody please ive me some clue on how to programatically extract the
full text fromk the outline pane of Power Point 2003?  A VBA code snippet
would be most useful.
We normally extract text from Power Point with the TextRange object.
