I am trying to link individual items in a dropdown list that is created in
vba code, so that when you look at the item it will link to a slide in the
presentation.
Any suggestions or techniques?

I’ve got a bit of a problem when I connect the laptop to a projector. It will
quite happily show our powerpoint presentation on both the laptop screen and

everythings working well, but, in slideshow mode, altho all the images
use animations fly in or out, the animations only work once. If you
re-visit an image you've already seen, the animation doesnt work...

Is there a way to play a song throughout a presentation?  I converted a file
from .mp3 to wav, but I cannot figure out how to make it play throughout the
show, without it messing up my animation settings

I am developing a ppt template for Marketing managers, and have the
following 'problem':
I defined a master slide, with a text field and 2 bullet levels.

When I go to edit text on a powerpoint slide it edits the line above the
cursor. I cannot get the cursor to stay on the line i want to edit but will
always go below it. Also when I print the slide it prints incorrectly
offpage. Some machines here do not have this problem and some ...

I am trying to combine two presentations that have different page layouts,

How/Where can I delete the background music that plays throughout the

When I draw a simple rectangle shape, and try to change its height by
click-dragging any resize handle, it snaps to a size that I don't want. Same
result when I try to resize by inputing numbers into the format>size fields.
This is not a smart shape, or imported object.

if i create a custom gradiant in PPT for a bar chart, can I save that
gradiant so I can apply the same effect to other bar charts for a variety of
colors?
