I am experiencing a problem with spellchecking out of PPT 2007, and I'd like
to know if it's universal, or just something going awry on my particular
system (XP SP2, Office SP1).
It will take a little setup to check, but nothing onerous, I promise:

I do not have a PowerPoint software (or the Viewer) installed on my laptop,
and occasionally I receive an email with a .pps file attached.  I know I can
open the attachment with a PowerPoint Viewer.  I was just wondering if that
is the only software I can use to open the file.  ...

I have a friend who's menu bar will  not stay on the top even after being
postioned there. It appears the setting will not be saved. Any ideas? This
for Office 2003.

My box shadows are not printing.  They look beautiful on screen but don't
show in print preview or when printed.  Can anyone help me?  I have a

Since the line chart's data lable have only 5 position option (left /
right / upon / below / middle), when the space between the lines (or say the

I have a desktop with Office Basic installed. I've recently bought a laptop
with Home and Student (3 user licence).  My son wants to use PowerPoint on
the desktop...can I instal just PowerPoint from the Home and Student licence
onto my desktop and if yes then how do I do it?

I'm running Powerpoint 2007 on a Fujitsu tablet PC.
When I run it with a projector or second monitor in presenter

I have 2 questions relating to tabbed forms:
1.  I did find some code for tabbed forms.  I copied them to Visual Basic.  
But, how do I get the Visual basic project to open into the Power Point
Project? Also, how do I modify the wording on the tabs?  And other

I have created code to turn on and off objects (shapes and pictures) in the
Master based on the user clicking on an object connected to my macro, which
also sends the user to a subsequent slide.  I also have another clickable

Some design templates have text boxes for main text that resize the font
automatically e.g. as you approach the bottom of the slide, the text will get
smaller to fit.  How can I set this feature in custom templates or add it in
templates that do not have it.

When I open a new presentation in ver 2003, I get a blank slide that is
divided into quadrands by dotted lines. I can manually remove the lines, but
would prefer the default slide design.

For some reason scrolling with the mouse wheel only shows every third slide.
It is frustrating and freaks me out. Is there any way to make it go one by
