my slides do not advance when going into view slideshow. any suggestions?

I'm trying to find a way to use an Excel table as the source document for
PowerPoint chart datasheets.  I am often combining the work of several
individuals into one cohensive document -- and it'd just be easier to work
from their Excel tables.  Any help?

I have a small clip I want to place text IN FRONT OF.  However, no matter
what sequence I put it in the video is always on top.  How can I have text
appear with animation over the video.

I am having a problem trying to fully embed fonts when converting a PP 2007
project to a PDF that I am sending to a book printer.  Apparently, MS doesn't
fully embed the more common fonts in this version using their PDF add-on.  Is

I consider myself an expert user of PPT but I haven't been able to locate
the answer to my problem.  Currently, I have created my own template through
the use of the Master Slide.  My Master Slide consists of custom animation,
shapes, pictures, and triggers, in addition to the ...

I can't figure out why the footers from my master show up as moveable items
on my new slides (slide numbers, etc).  I want them to appear as background
items like they used to in 2003.  Anyone know how to fix this?

I love to work with power point and share my work, but jit arrived with all
the working toolbar and the individual slides.  To see the show they must ask
for it and the other thing is that it can be change and I don't want that.

I have four different content slide designs that I want repeated in that

Is it possible to control the attributes (color or size) of PPT elements
(lines or shapes) with the values in an Excel spreadsheet?  In otherwords, if
Excel value = X, then PPT Line = Yellow... if Excel value = Y, then PPT Line
= Blue.

package for a CD the first (main) presentation (choosing to have all of the
linked presentations automatically added to the package) I get a message that
says:

I would like to manipulate chevron smart art object. I would like to add
text boxes below the arrow objects automatically. Is there any way to do it
using VBA?
