We have been creating some PPT slides which we use in church sermons.
I have tried a number of different converters to make it a video but when we
have multiple animated text in 1 slide the video shows all the text at one
time.

The new powerpoint has turned me into a sluggish performer - I was a wiz at
the old ppt, now all these pre-fab'd buttons and pulldown menus add so much
time to my work.  All I wanted to do was to make a light to dark to light
vertical gradient and I have spent over 2 hours ...

is there a way, to insert a "Stamp" on every slide automatically?
E.g. a graphic/Textbox with "confidential" placed on all sheets and is
the topmost element....

I'm trying to create a chart that has a bar chart detailing population, with
a line chart imposed on it do show population % Growth. Is there a way to do
this on the same chart (using two different chart types; bar and line)? Any
help would be much appreciated!

My users want to be able to point anywhere in a continguous string of text in
a textbox, and then do something with that particluar string.  They
specifically don't want to have to select the text - they just want to point
and shoot.

I saved a PowerPoint as a show and uploaded it on my webbsite for people to
download. When the go to the site and hit OPEN it opens as a Powerpoint not
as a slideshow.  How do I make it so it opens ONLY as a 97-03 slideshow?

I pasted slides from one PowerPoint presentation to a new template. Much of
the text has retained its original formatting despite attempts to reapply the
color scheme.

HI, I've managed to set defaults for all line/colour items in my autoshapes,
but I can't work out how to always have wordwarp as my default in autoshapes.
Even clicking the 'ste as default' once Ive created one in the pres doesnt

in PPT2003 instead of reverting to full screen = false after playback?

I was surprised that I couldn't seem to reposition the boxes on a single row
in an organization chart to reorder them while AutoLayout is on.
Is there a workaround so that I don't have to turn off AutoLayout? I like
the way it snaps everything into position when you add/remove ...

What is the maximum length of a movie in kiosk mode before it jumps to the
beginning of the presentation and is there a way to stop this.

im trying to do a presntation for class and i want to add a hyperlink to it.
how can i do this and why isnt the hyperlink option highlighted so i can use
it.

I have placed a .jpeg on a slide and saved it as a .pot.  Yet when I try to
apply this slide as a design template, I only get white slides.  What do I
need to do to the picture and/or slide to make it default as the design
template.  I am using Office 2000?

I have two monitors connected to my computer.  I can open up separate windows
in Excel and in Word (Office 2000).  
I am unable to figure out how to open separate instances of Powerpoint so
that I can compare one presentation to the next . . .and copy and paste

When I am looking at my Powerpoint Print Preview with the Option of Handouts
3 per page, I do not want the page numbers to print out. However when I go to
options then Notes & Handouts and deselect the Page Numbers box, they still
are displayed and still print out.
