When I run slideshow in powerpoint 2007 the slide show takes a long time to start. It also takes a long time to end the slide show or when I right click in the middle. This happens even for slideshow that has one slide with no graphics or any features.

Using Power Point 2003. I created a new photo album and inserted approximately 55 individual pictures with each picture on one slide with a title. I then did a view>slide master so that I could set a constant background.
