Since installing SP 3 we can no longer open ppsm files. This is because the open command in the file association is deleted for some reason. Anyone can tell me some alternative to reenable the same.

I use Office 11 (PPT 2003) and just went to the MS website to dowload 5 templates. I saw them show up in ppt. However, when I exited and restarted ppt, the templates did NOT show up in the Design Template pane. What do I need to do to get access to them.

I am running PPT 2003 w/ SP2. When I open presentations given to me by several other users in the office, the fonts resize or reformat on their own when I open the file. For example, a font may format to bold that was normal typface, or it may grow by a size.

My company has rolled-out an Office '07 pilot, and I've noticed a drastic decrease in visual performance when viewing animated slides I've created in the '03 version of PPT. Specifically, the color typewriter effect performs more sluggishly.

My company has standards for PPT font sizes, etc. However, I find that whenever I create a presentation, PowerPoint takes it upon itself to resize my fonts without my permission. Is there a way to shut this off?

Got big trouble, designing a template for a SlideLayout with two or more text-columns. The master-emplate allows only for one headline and one text-column to be predefined. When applying e.g. the two column template, not all tab-stopp-settings are applied correctly.
