I cannot view pp on slide show on laptop but it works fine on projector had
to install new hard drive and re load xp and office any ideas?

I have two computers in a school lab that are missing the menus in
PowerPoint 2003.  It's as if it is set full screen without tak panes.
I tried reinstalling Microsft Office xp.  It did not help.  How do I
get the menu back?

I want to setup a link to nero showtime.exe in a slide to begin a movie DVD.  
How can I do this without getting a potential virus warning?
Also, how do I set the trigger as a key (spacebar) instead of a mouse click?

I was showing a slide presnetation.  After a few minutes it would
automatically convert to normal view.  Itg showed a dialogue box that gave me
the choice to return to slide show.  It happened when the show sat idle for
about 10 minutes.

After I used Breeze to record my presentation, the slides will no longer
advance using the space bar or left mouse click. They only advance on PgUp or

How can I compress pictures in a slide show so that the slideshow is not so,large? I want to keep the pictures full screen with the best clarity I can get.  Is this a fundtion of Powerpoint, or must I compress them prior to inserting them.

I'm making a slide presentation for class, I have the background picture at a
transparency of 57%, however whenever I save the powerpoint the background
goes back to normal and I can't read any of the text on the slide because
there is no transparency...it's just a bold picture ...

I have a template for the first slide of any presentation I give and I have a
template for all other slides in the presentation.  How do I use both of
these is the same presentation so the first slide template is only on the

I am using 32 bit windows-XP system (SP-2) - all updates installed.
This is a new system in which I have just installed office2003 using my old
license key.

When I transfer a spreadsheet from excel to PP, the right border disappears

I'm using a screen capturing software to record a presentation. I can't
hookup a second monitor to trigger PPT into showing me my notes during the
recording. Is there anyway to setup Powerpoint so that I can view my
presentation in a scaled window along with my notes?

I created a power point presentation with WAV files that I acquired from
"Clip Organizer"  But when I go to run the program later, or send the
presentation to another computer, some of the WAV files will not play.  I've
increased the "link file size" but nothing helps.
