Inf PP 2007, it appears you can edit the placeholder components, header,
footer, etc., on each notes page as well as in the notes master page. Is
there a way to disable changing the components on each notes page?

i have inserted a shape into the master slide of a presentation . . . it
has evidently come with its own hidden animation which i can't find to
turn off . . . i ran into this problem a long time ago and was able to
stumble across the solution . . . today, i'm no so lucky.

I've inserted an avi video in a powerpoint present. It was originally
an FLV file but I converted it to avi and it runs fine. Once its in
the PPT powerpoint and I try to view the presentation and click on the
