Looks like lots of people are having the same problem.

I'm trying to insert a required space in a date in powerpoint.  How do I
avoid splitting the date onto 2 lines?

I am having problems with PowerPoint resizing ActiveX controls.
I have two controls on a slide. When I "show the slide", the controls
are enlarged (but not in proportion to the slide). So one control
covers the other and often one or both extend past the slide bounds.

I have seen it before, when you mouse over a thumbnail of an object, it
magnifies the image and shows it on the screen.

I have tried to link .avi files into my powerpoint 2003 presentation without
success. My files play in the MCI player and Media player very well. After
linking them (in the same folder) to a slide they go black. I have stored the
entire folder on my C drive with a short pathway. ...

How do I delete an object once the link has been followed in PowerPoint.
Example Slide 1 bookmarks to Slide 5 and then bookmarks comes back to 1.  
Can the link on 1 disappear or be hidden?

I have a short slide show running on a loop. I wish to have the slides remain

If I have a slideshow with rehearsed timings (narration), what will happen if
I add/copy single slides (which have their own automatic-timed audio WAV
files) in between some of the original slides? Will these integrate smoothly,
or will it throw everything off?

I am trying to embed 2 sound files on the same slide. It works just fine in
the PowerPoint presentation but when I publish the presentation as an HTML,
only one sound file shows up and plays. Is there any way to publish the file
and to get both sound files to show up and play?

can't find a method to do that. I can set the text but I can't change the

Hi, I have a powerpoint show running on an extended desktop in XP.
It shows a lunch menu, and it is on a timer and a loop.
The 2nd screen is linked to a projector in the hall. However, when I open a
file or folder on the primary monitor (or check my emails) the powerpoint

I saved my PPT presentation as a slide show, without saving first the
changes.. How can I access slides from the slide show to do changes?
