I prepared adisplay ad in Publisher 2000 and converted it to a .pdf
file, then sent it to four different newspapers.
Two of them said it was satisfactory, two of them said I had to "embed"
the fonts.

I am trying to rip a file that a customer sent to us, every time I send it the image is cut off somewhere. I have adjusted the paper size and it still cuts off the image but puts the crop marks in the right place. What do I need to check to fix this? I even tried making a pdf ...

Am trying to link photos for a book as the printer
requests all photos to be linked and not embedded.  Have
already embedded them and need to fix.  Have clicked all

Am working to get a 176 page book ready for printing and
printer asks that all the text be in one file.  Can
publisher handle a file this large?  Don't want to get
started and have problems in the middle.
