Is it possible to print copy-proof originals on my inkjet printer

I would like to create a personal 3/4" or 1" (2" total) edge binding strip
for 24" x 36" drawing sets.  I have a HP 800PS Plotter.

When I print a 4 page banner in Publisher 2000, how do make my Dell A920
Printer not skip over the preforation?  I don't want to cut and paste the
banners.

I am making a brochure at work and the colors are so weird. The print preview
shows up normal but just looking at it (they are dental pictures of teeth)

I have 4 (5X7) postcards on an 11X17 sheet of paper.  I'm trying to mail
merge from excel onto the postcards, but the entire sheet of paper has the

I see my color scheme in my Brochure, but print preview shows white
background and it prints white. How do I get the color scheme to print? Also
