Why is it that in Publisher 2003 you can insert an object whith merge fields in the content library and reuse it with all it functionality ex:mergefields and in Publisher 2007 when you reuse them(object) the merge fields are converted to text.

I can't get to the Page Number Dialog to set up page numbering. With the Master page open I click INSERT and then PAGE and instead of getting the Page Dialog I get the New Master Page Dialog. Any idea what is wrong here???
