Since installing sp2 to update windows XP my internet gateway icon in connections window doesn't show and I have to repair wireless link up to router on every start up? Can anyone tell me why this happens as before instaling sp2 this problem

When I am working in Publisher, the screen re-writes itself every time I click in a different area on the page, making it "jump around" on the screen. This is hard to deal with when I am fine-tuning object positions. Any way to suppress the re-write feature?
