I have Microsoft Publisher 2000 SR-1. I added alternative text (alt text) to the images in the website I created. When I do a web preview and when I publish to the web, these alt texts do not diplay at all when I roll over the image with my mouse.

For many years, I have been happily producing a website using Publisher 97. Having now made the (for me) monumental change from Windows 95 (and Publisher 97), to XP and 2003, I realise that I am out of my depth in the newer Publisher.

I need to hyperlink to a specific word document using publisher. i know how to hyperlink it, however when i view it on the internet, i am able to go in and look at other files. i would prefer for the other files to not be viewed. what can i do?

I know it makes a difference for sites to upload in the http or ftp protocol, but withoiut reinstalling the Operating System disc for the ftp, how can I find out what protocol my site is in? and how do I get it to go to HTTP?

My host company says it has to point to gdform.asp but I don't see where I'd be able to point it. Publisher gives me the option to send the form info to an email address but that doesn't work either. Can someone please help?

I can see all the fonts in a regular Publisher document, but when I create a web page format, I can only see a select group of TrueType fonts. This is on my second copy of Publisher 2003 (which is legal). The first copy works ok, on my primary computer.
