I need to know how to convert a publisher 2000 *.pub
document into a *.pdf file in windows xp professional.
I have a knowledge base article #302835 which tells me how
to do it in windows 98, 98se, me, nt and 2000 based

I already know there isn't a way to open the file in it's native format

Is there any easy way to insert em dashes and en dashes? First,
Publisher was putting them in and I didn't want them. Now I decided I do
 want them and can't do it just from the keyboard. I see where you can
go to Insert -> symbol but that is quite cumbersome.

I am preparing (as I do every month) a magazine formatted in booklet style.
Whenever I close and reopen, it's turned itself into a web page! I can
reconvert it via Page setup, but when I return to work some more, it's back

with it. I created a website (kind of) in a few hours time that I will be
constantly updating since the text in it are things I was blurting out at the

I am having difficulty with the print margins on my file.  I have gone to the
"arrange menu" and set the margins to zero.  When I print or do a print
preview, I can set anything I want on the left margin to the edge and have it
print, but the right margin cuts it off at about .5. ...

When I type in (Tm) the text automatically changes to superscript tm for
trademark.
This is a case of the software having a mind of its own!

I want to edit the shape around a graphic in a print publication. I use the
"edit text wrap" tool (Publisher 2003) and make new points, but the original
square box is still there, and the text wraps to that instead of the new
points. What am I doing wrong?
