| Major 07 rant - top fold template appears on screen as side-fold | 09 Jan 2008 17:22 GMT | 5 |
This is REALLY beginning to do my nut in because it makes placement of objects (and visualisation of the finished project when printed) nigh on impossible. I thought Publisher was supposed to be WYSIWYG, but I have spent THREE DAYS (not to mention a lot of wasted paper and ink) ...

We have 2 computers that are networked and are able to share files. I am trying to find if I can have the same publisher file (in this case a news letter) open at the same time by both users. In other words, can 1 user be working on page 2 and the other on page 7 at the same ...

Don't ask me how it happened but I created a pub. 2003 document after many hours of work. Saved it, went to have lunch, came back to edit it and "somehow" it is now a pub. 2007 file. I can not print it, edit it or save it and I am going bonkers! Not really that interested in how ...

| Publisher 2003 to Publisher 2007 | 08 Jan 2008 23:10 GMT | 1 |
We recently upgraded to Office 2007. We print booklets from Publisher and on some of our files, when we open them in 2007 and make changes and save, the page linking is updated so that the wrong page numbers are printed in the wrong order.

| Working with existing publisher files | 08 Jan 2008 16:01 GMT | 3 |
I am trying to modify an existing page. It allows me to make the edits, but when I look at the page in print preview the old text is there. I'm not sure how to get to the old text since it's not showing when I'm in normal view.

| Is it possible to 'lock' an object/group of objects in Pub 2007? | 08 Jan 2008 15:34 GMT | 2 |
Now, it's a very long time since I used 2003 (and earlier) but I could have sworn that it was possible to 'lock down' an object, or group of objects so that you didn't accidentally move them whilst you were working on something else (and I'm pretty - <90% - certain that there was ...

1. In Publisher 2007 (Trial) I select the A4 Landscape Blank Page template. 2. I insert a picture. The picture is adjusted to fit the entire page. Or just left as is. It doesn't matter. 3. In print preview, the page is suddenly divided into 4 (A4) pages with my

Does anyone here maintain a list of graphics people who can generate film positives from Publisher PNG files for 'precision' silkscreening (tight tolerance, not for tee shirts)? OR... does anyone have positive (pardon the pun) experience converting a Publisher file to a PDF for ...
