All of a sudden ALL of my word document state that they
are locked for editing (read only).  I can not open any of
my documents.  How do I fix this?  I have tried security.

Everytime I save a Word document, whether it is to the
hard drive, zip drive or floppy, Word saves it as a
wordpad document and I am unable to reopen it into Word.

office 97 when i use word or excell it freezes up in the
program possibley incompatible i want to know if theres a

We are facing a problem with a customer installation which have migrated
 from Office 2000 to Office XP with Windows XP below.
The behavior of Word XP is that on some documents the applications just
crash away. This happens on newly created documents which do have

a network with a domain. I have users setup to access
this pc. I am having a problem with on user. She canot

my word document opens but there is nothing in between the
top and the ruler ..... there is no file or edit or view
or help or anything ....!! i am unable to find anyway to

Word will not open. I get the logo, hourglass, then entire
system locks up. I have reinstalled, deleted, and
reinstalled Office. I have run the repair.
Excel and PowerPoint open, but Word still won't open.

This one must be an easy fix!  When opening MS-Word the
default Word document does not open automatically.  How
do I configure Word to automatically open a blank Word

When I attempt to open word 97, the logo pops up but then
nothing happens. Did I "hit" something that caused it to
disengage? Thanks

Just wanna know if it's possible to install Office XP
on a PC still using as OS, Windows98 (resp. 98SE).
