I mistakenly copied a new file over an old one by using the same file name for the new file as I had used for the old one. How can I recover the old/original file? Thanks.

A word file, when counted in computer A gives a count=1000 but the same file when counted in computer B(where both computers are running same version of word) counts=1200. The count of computer A is more correct.
