I'm using word automation in some asp applications, and sometimes i get the
following error:
Detection of product '{90280409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0050048383C9}', feature
'WordUserData', component '{8ADD2C93-C8B7-11D1-9C67-0000F81F1B38}' failed.

I am having Trouble with the Starting Document Number in
Word. I doesn't start with the Default Number of Just
Document #1 but starts at a randomly larger number such
as Document #7.

missing word toolbar and menus at the top of all new and
old word docs. This just started after a couple years of
normal behavior. I have no toolbar at the top of ALL word
docs. None of the proposed fixes can be attempted because

When I open a new document in word, upon typing to the
end of the first line, when I hit "enter" the cursor
jumps 1/2 way to 3/4 way down the page.  I have tried
everything. Anybody out there who has solved this glitch?

Earlier today, I opened a document in Word, just as I have
done countless times in the past.  I then attempted to
open a file which was probably a text file, but not a WORD
file.  The WORD "intro" came up, but wouldn't go beyond

Word 97 seems to have disappeared.  When I try to open a
file previously saved, I get the message Program Not
Found, Windows cannot find Winword.exe.  It looks for the

As soon as I open Word, the title box will appear and then
the computer locks up completely. I have unisnstalled and
reinstalled Word, and even reinstalled Windows 98, but the

Every time I re-install my MS Office 97 the Word can be
loaded only once, as soon as I try to type something it

When I double click a jpg attachment in Outlook I get the

1. Suddenly I cannot see the cursor (not the mouse

I use Word 97 under Windows XP Pro and I recently had an error displayed
when I wanted to run a macro from within a document (not a specific
document), based on a template I created.
The error was "Run-time error '5981':  Could not open macro storage" (msgbox

I am running Word 97 on XP Home.  Word crashes frequently,
with no error messages.  Sometimes it happens after I
close the Page Setup or Bookmark menu, sometimes it does
it without my having to do anything at all.  It happens
