Strange problem - We have word documents that open in Micrsoft Word XP with
no problems. The same documents crash Word 2000.
Is anyone aware of any differences between these two versions of word that
could cause this. Anything that XP does to the documents to trip Word 2000

Hi, when I recieved my computer, it had Office 2002 on
it.  I wasn't able to open Word... it would open, and
give me an error message saying it had encountered a
problem, and needed to restart.  It would say that

Hi everyone, after F-Disking the hard drive, and
reinstalling all our software, including Word 97', we have
this annoying problem with Visal Basic poping up when
opening, closing and saving documents within word. Why? I

When I try to open a Word document it will not open.  It
continuously runs and when I hit control, alt, delete it
displays "The system is dangerously low in resources".  
What does this mean and what should I do?

When using Word I type in a heading like Dear Sir or
Madem, up on doing this I get the message that Windows
has encountered a problem and must close.  When looking
at the details it envolves winword.exe and mso9.dll.

title bar is flashing and not editing is possible.  None
of the commands are available and the only way to close
the program is "alt control delete".  This problem has

after opening and viewing document for 2-3 seconds.  This
is an email attachment and I have never seen this

I am having big difficluty in fixing the Microsoft Word
2002 in my computer. I receive the following message each

The same several lines of text flicker intermittantly,

I am using Word 97 SR2 and I wanted to set up a wildcard
search. Word reported the search unsuccessful. After
further investigation it seems to be having a problem with
