I have Word 2000 in Works Suite 2000 package. Began totally locking up computer yesterday. Only manual shut down will regain access to computer. Norton scan reveals no virus found. Tried uninstall/reinstall with no luck.

I have been trying to get in touch with someone at Microsoft for days to get the fix listed here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;292158, as all the page numbers in my 100-page document are listed as "0".
