On my computer the delete key no longer deletes highlighted text in Word. It does so in other programs (Powerpoint, Wordperfect), and works in word one letter at a time but not if text highlighted. Rebooting does nothing. Any ideas?

I apologize if this is not readable. I did not know!!! in word 2002, "macro could not be created" came up after I fooled around with templates, etc. i have deleted normal.dot and uninstalled and reinstalled word and office...

My entire text is sideways, including some of the icons, such as the text justification icons. The text is not, at least to my knowledge, included in a text box. Therefore, it's not a product of the "text justification"
