When running Word 2000 and other Office 2000 applications
on XP, error 1706 appears for non-admin users.  The apps
start up the Windows Installer, which looks for the

I am really getting frustrated by recurrent errors in MS
word. It keeps telling me that a "serious error has
occured and word has to close". This happens so often
that it is getting to me. Of course it recovers my work

Several times recently when I'm half way through typing a
letter in Word 2000 I get the following message

When I try to copy a document from within Word2002 to my
floppy drive using the "Send to" command, I get this

Have had no trouble with the pre installed works suite on
my PC for 4 years. The problem is that when I try to open
