A couple days ago I copied a picture from the internet
onto a word document. Now when I go to open Word, it
keeps inserting this picture. (2 of them actually) When I
click on new blank document, it just does the same thing.

Anytime I try to open Word 2000, my computer freezes up
and I have to shut it down and restart.  I have been using
this Word program for about 3 years with no problem.  It
came with my Gateway computer and everything else works

some Lotus Word Pro files in it.  I don't have Lotus Word
Pro on my System.  Can you tell me how to open these

When i run Word 2000 in Win XP Home Edition always word
has a fatl error. "Microsoft Word for Windows has
encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry

The scenario:  if I click on a word Document to open it from it's stored
folder etc, it opens Word, but no file appears (no error messages either).
This happens with all word files. (.doc)

When attemting to access any word document or access word.

For the past month, whenever I am in word (and excel)the
drop-down menu appears on its own interrupting my work and
causing inadvertant changes in what is being down.  The

For some reason my version of Windows 2002 has all of a
sudden decided to open all hyperlinks so they look
like: "{HYPERLINK " mailto:bobmadigan@wtopnews.com"}  
instead of just Bob Madigan with the hyperlink itself
