This problem started a week ago -- it takes at least 1 minute for Word to open, and then close to 1 minute for each file to open. I haven't encountered this problem in the past.

Every time I open Word it seems to open a new document titled Document1, Document2 etc. It's now up to Document14 which is indicative of how many time word has crashed on me. Themessage I get is:

We are running Word 2002. In all previous versions of Word, you are able to "auto complete" the current date as long as "Show AutoComplete Suggestions" was selected in the Autotext box.

in Word XP, after clicking and executing the protect document command from tools, i couldnt edit the document, obviously. but now when i open any other document in word, i cant edit anything or alter any document,

Winword.exe generates a fault when you try to open word clicking on the icon the message reports trying to open a file with " (a box symbol) which I would assume, that is a null symbol. If you go to an old file you can open word.

In Word 2000, I get the message, "winword.exe has generated an error, and will be closed." I only get this message when I click on the tools menu. I have removed my software and reload. It still occurs. Please help.
