I'm recieving the below error report upon open MS Word
2002. My Document go into a recovery mode. Any suggest
for a fix. I have removed word serveral time and
reinstall. The problem has on appeared in remote desk top.

I operate Windows XP, Word 2002, and other office 2000
component, Power Point Excel.  I have just updated it
all, using the update wizard in Microsoft web site.  
Since this update, I can not open any file using the

When i open Word 2000 my document 1 has text on screen
from previous document which was to my knowledge not
saved.It wont let me delete it without asking to save.If i
press open new documnet it again apears and keeps doing so

I use a laptop at my workplace and if I leave it turned on
for the night the next morning when I use word the date in
the AutoComplete doesn't come out right. If I restart my
computer it seems to fix itself. Could someone please help

in word documents hyperlinks are showing up as { hyperlink
txt } instead of the normal hyperlink format. does anyone
know why that would happen?

I was trying to find out why I get an error when I embed a
linked Word doc in a Word doc in Word 2002.  It also
happens on linked Excel files in Word doc.  I get the
following error dialog box when I send it to other people

The first of two things:
1.  I get an error on Excel that tells me that the files
is being open by another user.  This happens on all Excel
files that I open.  The directory that the excel files are

although it doesn't occur all the time, sometimes when i
open word 2003 i get an error message from micrsoft
visual basic that states "the project doe not support the
property or method".

laptop various brands running on win2k pro) with dual boot.
When there are two or more word documents open, its not
possible to save a document or copy matter from one

Cannot get Word 2000 to work in my new XP environment. Other Office 2000 Premium applications appear to be ok. Is there a download available to make Word compatible to XP?

can someone please tell me (once again) how to disable the
'runtime error?'
It appears (occasionally) when I try to close a file.
The work is saved but not always by 'me' - rather the

Hello - I am running XP and I loaded Office 97 (legit
with CD key) and all programs work except that when I
open Word I get an error message that displays the file
name is being used by (then displays my name) Do you want

when using word 2000 when typing, the letters go in and
out of focus. It came with office 2000 and the other
programs are fine.

I merge data from the Access 2003 table into Word 2003 and the data cannot be sorted UNLESS you eliminate the first one or two items and the last one or two items in the list.  If anyone can help, please advise

My computer is the server in our office, however each
time I try to open a word or excel document; I receive an
error message stating that document is not available.
I appreciate any assistance that can be provided.
