Applied w2k sp4 and all w2k and office updates. Office XP Word opens over 5 seconds after clicking icon. Opens faster in W2k sp3 with all current patches except sp4. Situation is true with several machines.

MS Word 2000 freezes/locks up when editing/viewing document. I have formatted the hard drive and started from scratch ... issue still resides after MS Word is installed. Freezes/locks up when document is all ready open and being viewed or edited. Not user or document specific.
