the synonyms option instead it stops at hyperlink and also
has increase and decrease indent in the window. how do I

Applied w2k sp4 and all w2k and office updates. Office XP
Word opens over 5 seconds after clicking icon. Opens
faster in W2k sp3 with all current patches except sp4.

I have a user who has an Excel document password
protected.  Is there any way to 'break' the password
protection.  I also need to know how to 'break' this if it
happens in Word.

Small company with SBS 2003 - 8 workstations - one lan segment wants to implement internet access (browsing) management using time quotas (not schedule - i.e. 30 minutes total any time during the workday).
Can anyone comment or make recommendations on implementation.

I started getting "illegal operation" messages everytime
that I tried to access MS Word files.  Cannot get into any
of them.   Went to a MS support site for help and tried to
reinstall / repair the MS Office 2000, but it didn't do

Is this site read by Microsoft??  I have the same problem as reported by others: files can not be opened in word 2003  - not even files saved by the same software. I have deinstalled and reinstalled office 2003, turned off all other programs (like anti virus etc) - nothing helps. ...

MS Word 2000 freezes/locks up when editing/viewing document.  I have formatted the hard drive and started from scratch ... issue still resides after MS Word is installed.  Freezes/locks up when document is all ready open and being viewed or edited.  Not user or document specific.

I recently upgraded my computer to Windows XP and just
now tried to open my address book on Word 2000, but have

My problem is whenever I try to open a file ( -any- file

I have the same problem with Word (but other Office 97 programs are fine).  I open a doc, edit, then it crashes.  Also I can only save documents with a single letter name.  If I type BusLtr1, it's saved as B.  I think this has been happening osince around the time I upgraded from ...
