When attempting to open a Word document using the Start
button in Windows ME, I just get a blank box on the
taskbar. After using CTR-ALT-DEL, shows a program called

My Word and Excel applications (2003 version) are
extremely unstable.  All other applications work fine.  
Office Updates will not load.  Running WindowsXP Pro.

Lately, while I'm typing an e-mail, or a Word document, the computer

I have a number of large text files saved on a Zip disk
using Word 2000.  Have accessed these often for updating
and never had a problem. Now, when attempting to open I

i had to reinstall win 98 se. Word 2000 would not open.  I
installed all of the critical updates, etc.  Word 2000
will flash briefly about 1 second and will not open.  I've
