When Word 2002 opens, I get the error message below in a
window titled "Microsoft Visual Basic".  I have
uninstalled and reinstalled Word with no improvement.  I
would like to find out how to get rid of this error

I have a problem with a Ms Word 2000 (9.03821 sr-1)

A few months ago I converted to Word 2000 from 97. Most documents open ok,
but there have, worryingly, been two or three that will not open. They seem
to be corrupted. When I open one, instead of a letter, for example, all I
get is what looks like several pages of code.

My problem is that in word my cursor jumps to different
parts of the page constantly.
I will be in the midst of typing a word and all of a
sudden the new word is in a totally different sentence,

Whenever I try to open word I get the message "Microsoft

I created some invoice documents using a template in Word XP (2002).  Now
when I go back and open them in Word 2003 to change values, calculated
fields are no longer updated.  I've even saved, exited and reloaded-- no go.

I have created a large doc with hundreds of Excel links - mostly bitmaps
with manual updates.  The file is about 200 pgs long.  I have Office XP
(2002) with SP-2 and all the latest security patches.  I have XP Home or XP

After I open word and click on file-open.  When I click
on the look in box arrow, it freezes for about 15
seconds, then it comes up.  It does this with all the
office products.  But it only does it the first time.  

With any attempt to change font size, color, margine left
center or right Word freezes up and goes to an error
message to notify MS and recover work.Other aspects of
word seem to work properly.

I get an error when I select Envelopes and Lables. The
window does not say a whole lot and then restarts word.
The only option is to send the error to MS. I have run a
repair and it does not fix the issue.

When I try to open Word the page is a small icon in my
tray and cannot be enlarged. I have reinstalled Office97
with no effect. I then uninstalled the Word portion and
then installed the Word portion. The same problem

When I start typing in Word, the line turns black.  If I
press the tab bar the lines turn black.  It does not do
this in my Excel.
