Using Office 2003 on W2k professional on W2K server.  User
is set up for roaming profile.  Every time he reboots his
computer, all his Word settings default back; he loses his
personal fonts.  Since he uses Word as email editor, he

When a clipart is inserted in a document, it can only be
seen when previewing the document.  Also, right clicking
on the picture does not give you the option to format the
picture.  The picture can be edited, but not formatted.

One of our workers cannot use the save as... option in
either Word or Excel. Save is available in the File menu,
but Save As.. is grayed out. Any idea what could cause
this and how we can make the option available again?

When using Word 2002 if I go to "open a document"
the "send to" option is not darkened so it can be used.  
Can this be fixed????  Windows 2000 is my operating system.

Each time I use word I get a file on the desktop with the
name ~.  Also in my folders there sometimes is a file with
the same name but with a ~ at the front.  What's wrong?

I'm running windows xp (media center) and office 2000 on
an HP Pentium 4 2.80GHz with 512 MB RAM.  Whenever I open
word documents it takes about 60+ seconds for them to
appear.  This slowness occurs only when I open the

Terry, it's a desktop. It happens with every document I
attempt to use. I did run detect and repair. Problem
persists.

I wonder if anyone can help?, when I open Word
application it seems to take a quite a while longer to
open up than when I am logged in as Guest user. My
operating system is Windows XP.

I am running Windows 97.When working in Word I can work
normally and save files. However when I try and open these
the screen freezes and I have to re-start. Any suggestions?
