I had Word 2000 on my PC. I then loaded Office XP which overlayed Word 2000. Since Office XP was already loaded on my other PC, it only lets me use Word 50 times. I then uninstalled Office XP.

When I open a file, I get an error message that reads says the ~ file caused a fatal error the last time this file was opened. It happens on many files/docs, and if I click through to open the file anyway, it seems to open fine.

My word 2003 keeps hanging abruptly after a short while. I have about enough time to type a few things, save it, before it crashes. Is there a way of debugging this? I have no error messages that pop up and am also unable to deduce what it is I am doing to trigger this.

When I click on Word, nothing happens. It doesn't give an error, it doesn't do anything. If I go to Add/Remove Programs, MS Word 97 is there, but the size is blank. I have tried uninstalling, then reinstalling. Still no luck.

When I open a document and try "print preview" systems stops responding and cpu is just 100 percent use during 15 minutes or more, depends the size of document. What can I do to solve the problem ?
