I am getting a double error from word when I route a
document (Win 2000 Pro, Office 2000 Pro).
Save to mapped drive fails - tmp files23 Dec 2003 18:35 GMT1
Word 2000 users saving to mapped drive on Win2000 are
getting these messages. In addition, tmp files are not
deleted for the document when this occurs.

I had Word 2000 on my PC.  I then loaded Office XP which
overlayed Word 2000.   Since Office XP was already loaded
on my other PC, it only lets me use Word 50 times.  I then
uninstalled Office XP.

I have a large document in Word 2003 that I had built up
to around 106,000 words, then condensed down to about
80,000 words.  Now whenever I ask word to do a word count
it the dialog box shows the (expected) count of 86k, then

When I open a file, I get an error message that reads says
the ~ file caused a fatal error the last time this file
was opened.  It happens on many files/docs, and if I click
through to open the file anyway, it seems to open fine.

Just got a copy of Office 2003. I installed it...
everything works fine, however in every application when
(File) (Open) then click on LOOK IN:   the application
locks up - and when I check the task manager I get

My word 2003 keeps hanging abruptly after a short while. I have about
enough time to type a few things, save it, before it crashes.
Is there a way of debugging this? I have no error messages that pop up
and am also unable to deduce what it is I am doing to trigger this.

When I click on Word, nothing happens.  It doesn't give
an error, it doesn't do anything.  If I go to Add/Remove
Programs, MS Word 97 is there, but the size is blank. I
have tried uninstalling, then reinstalling. Still no luck.

When I open a document and try "print preview" systems
stops responding and cpu is just 100 percent use during
15 minutes or more, depends the size of document.
What can I do to solve the problem ?

I have a Win2000/SP4 system that just recently started showing this
problem;  I'm not sure if it started with the installation of SR-3
(installed over an initial SR-1) to Word 2000.
For *all* users, even the administrator, when closing Word, it prompts

Everytime I print, the "print dialog" window opens, but
appears behind the actual work document. Any way to
correct this so that it appears in front (like normal)?
