I went into the toolbar on Word 2003 today to insert a symbol into a document and it was no longer listed as an option. What's up with that? Any ideas on how to fix the problem? I really need my en-dash.

Has anyone tried the "support from a professional" link on the MS help site for $35? I'm desperate! It would be worth it to me, as broke as I am, if it works- but I don't know how reliable it is.
