On some of my many pages it turns out that whenever I hit a return Wor
skips an extra space so that I have spaces between paras instead of th
usual arrangement of single spacing with indents.

Starting yesterday,my word and excel stopped opening any
file. When I try to open a file  I get an error message
saying "the XXXX file is not avaialable". and an OK
botton. The when I want to close out, I the followong

I have a Word document in which the header is comprised of
a graphic and a four row five column table the second row
has several merged cells. The document has a section break
where the layout changes from portarit to landscape.

I am editing a large file and it seems that there has been a hard carriage
return at the end of each line (the person has hit enter at the end of each
line). Is there a way to delete the enter command throughout the document
instead of deleting it on a line by line basis?

I have a page that is set up in double columns.  I
selected in Page Setup "from this point forward" to change
pg 2 to a landscape pg.  Now I want to make the next
section (pg 3) a portrait pg.  I keep getting an error

I've set up a letter with fields, but when I merge the data from Excel with
my letter, the right hand side keeps moving across?  What am I doing wrong,
