when i enter microsoft office, and i try to type
something it won't type and at the bottom of the screen

very funny things are happening to my version of word

it won't open documents, saying they are in use and read-

Came to open a Word document this evening, and for some
reason, when Word opened, there were no menus/icons/tools/
along the top, no help icon (so couldn't re-install Word
because I couldn't get access to product ID.)
