MENU BARS AND TOOL BARS MISSING23 Mar 2004 02:08 GMT1
I have Word 2000.  When I start Word, a new document
appears, but NO MENU OR TOOL BAR appears.
Keyboard Shortcuts are working fine, and everythin els is
on the screen apart from the bars.

I have trouble inserting an equation using the microsoft
equation editor 3.0. I'm running office xp. When I tried
to insert object->microsoft equation editor 3.0,
1. an error pops up saying that it has encountered a

Whenever I start Word 2000, I receive the following
messages:  "The global template, NORMAL.DOT, is already
open as an add-in program."  and then I get "The add-in
template is not valid. (Y:\~$Normal.dot)"

Word2000 shutdown completely (Windows NT 4.0 Workstation).
I have use /a switch it works fine but after removing
the /a it shutdowns completely. I haven't seen this kind
of problem before.

Until janury 2004 I used a betaversion of Office 2003. When its working
peruod expired I switched back to my Office XP, but among other problems
(Outlook pst files from 2003 version could not open i Outlook XP) I could
not use Word in normal mode.

I have an unusual problem were Word 2000 stops responding
after typing one or two lines after hitting return.

it tells me it is in a hidden moduel in a protected
project and to fix it I need to open the project and
unportect it .  I have not idea what this means, if it is
