I have office 2000, and have lost my "normal" templet. When I open word, my entire toolbar has disappeared and will not come back. How do I get this corrected?

I keep getting "winword has caused an error in winword.exe. Winsord will not close" message everytime I try to get into Word. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, repairing and nothing works. Excel and Powerpoint are fine but can't get into Word (or Works) for that matter. ...

When I type in Word 2000 (Windows 2000, Outlook 2000) the typing jumps to the last spot where the cursor sits, instead of continuing on. This happens at least twice per sentence!
