Hello, We are running Office 97 SR1 under Windows 2000
version 5 on an IBM NetVista (single user).
We've had many viruses recently, cleaned up with Norton
Antivirus.  After installing Quickbooks and running Norton

I had been using MS Word 2000 SR-1 on my Gateway for about
3 years with no problems until this week.  When I try to
open Word or a Word document my computer locks up and I
have to restart.  I tried deleting the entire Word program

I have a final document from last year which was developed
collaboratively.  After final editing, the document was
shown as Final without mark-ups showing and copies were
made, printed and displayed on the web.  Now it is a year

I have a couple of documents in Word 2003 on WinXP SP1
where the document headers and footers 'flash' - that is
the jump wider-narrower-wider-narrower continuously. Not
only does the onscreen text 'jump' but the right hand

I would like just to inquiry if other people had the same experience
of mine. I got Sasser worm in the pc (win 2KSp2 running). I patched
the OS with the update Win2000- kb835732-x86 and with KB841720.
Everything seems OK on the virus front, but the files I was working

I use Windows XP Professional, and Office XP.  If I
receive a Word file by Email, open the file in Word then
attempt to "Save As" and choose another drive by clicking
the down arrow in the open area at the top of the dialog

I RECEIVED A WORD FILE LAST WEEK, AND DOWNLOADED IT
EVER SINCE - WHEN I OPEN WORD - ALL MY TASK BARS - FILE, PRINT, ETC ARE GONE - AND I CAN'T MAKE NEW DOCUMENTS. IT'S LIKE IT IS IN READ ONLY MODE.  HOW DO I CHANGE IT

When i use office 2003 i cant print to my network printer.
If i use a mailing label i can print ok. But when i print
a normal document, excel sheet etc.. i get a popup window
saying microsft needs to close. The error signiture is:

Might be a bit old, but when I tried to install Microsoft Word 2002, I
entered the  product key and I got a little window that was titled
"Compliance Check". What am I supposed to do? Thanks.

I updated pc from 95 to windows 98,now when I try to open my documents
I continualy get this "ERROR" CAN NOT FIND WINWORD EXE FILE".I have
tried every way to locate the file,"what can I do?"

I just recently acquired a laptop (used) that has Office 97 Pro on it. I
wish to uninstall the software, but it didn't come with the install disk.
Office will not allow uninstall without Disk 1.
Is there a workaround? Any hope? Suggestions?

I am using MW Word 2000 with all updates installed.

When I try to open a word document, word opens and then
minimizes to the bottom icon tray. It will not restore.
Is this a memory problem?

I have Word 2003.  When I try to access saved documents,
I get message "Document Not Available".  I can create a
document, modify and print.  But after it is saved, I get
the above message.  I cannot access any saved word

        I am having problems with a macro. This is the lowdown.
I have a custom template with some macros in it. The template is
signed digitally (in word 2000). I run the macro in this template in a
windows 2000, word 97, IE 5.5 environment and I have no problems.
