I cant open any of my file that have Arial Font in them. I have run Virus scans on them but there O.K. Any Ideas?

I disabled Nortons, but still can not open words where they are saved to my documents.
But if go to words they are there. How do I fix this? If I try to open them in MS office I ge

Word was working fine.  I had already saved the document that I was working on several times.  Then I selected print and the program stopped responding.  I was forced to exit the program by selecting control-alt-delete
