No matter what application I attempt to use I get the

Whenever i open Word 2003, it appears on the Task Bar but
I can't get it to open.  I've tried Restore, Maximize and
Move.  I've also tried to open from different parts of my
computer -- through Programs, Explorer, desktop icon.
